Infidelity

True Support

and concrete help when you need a way forward

I have been specializing in infidelity since 2015 and deeply understand the pain, losses, confusion, overwhelm, and challenges you’re facing. I am currently writing a book about repair following infidelity. I work with couples and individuals and can schedule longer sessions on the weekend if you wish. I prioritize scheduling clients facing infidelity, whether you’ve just discovered betrayal or have been struggling for years. Contact me to schedule a free half-hour consultation to see if you’d like to work together. There is a way through this. I can help.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

I trained at a clinic specializing in work with couples, was later a partner owner in the clinic, and now have a solo practice. I work with infidelity and trauma every day of the week.

In addition to my own research, I have training in:

HEALING AFTER INFIDELITY

  • Michele Weiner Davis’ training

  • Gottman training on Trauma and Infidelity

COUPLES THERAPY

  • GOTTMAN METHOD

  • PET-C (trained with Brent Atkinson)

  • DISCERNMENT COUNSELING (a structured process to help you figure out whether or not to go forward together)

  • EXTENSIVE TRAUMA THERAPY TRAINING

  • THERAPY TO INCREASE NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

A word about infidelity programs and coaching:

The programs and coaching I have encountered often offer group or individual support settings where you can share your story, hear other stories, understand a bit more about types of infidelity, and learn some basics about repair. They can be helpful. Some programs are led by trained and licensed therapists, others are led by lay people with minimal or no training. I recommend that you vet programs, their leaders, and coaches. This is a painful and important time in your life, and getting solid and sound guidance and support can be critical.

I devote my time and energy to being fully present with my clients and trust that this focus and dedication will be evident in our work together. This is not “What would you like to talk about today” therapy. I don’t take notes in session (unless preparing for a specific therapy), never type anything in session, and come prepared from our very first appointment to dive into helping you to meet your goals towards the healing or change you desire.
