Laura Lindekugel M.S., M.S., LMFT, SEP is a licensed marriage and family therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Integral Somatic Psychology Practitioner, certified holistic health practitioner, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor. She provides individual therapy, couple therapy, and trauma therapy to the Twin Cities and their surrounding communities.

I provide individual therapy and couple therapy therapy to address, resolve, or prepare for: communication, conflict, ineffective patterns, infertility, miscarriage or pregnancy loss, pregnancy, birth or adoption, parenting, difficult transitions, impasses, sexuality and intimacy, infidelity and trust, quarter life and midlife issues, growing together or back together, life changing illness and diagnoses, grief and loss, ambiguous loss, career or school pressure, acute stress or anxiety, to design an intentional life, and to achieve peak performance.

I provide trauma therapy for high intensity activation, post traumatic stress, and to reduce and resolve the symptoms that sometimes follow difficult or traumatic events, including sleep disturbances, difficulty sleeping, intrusive images and memories, flashbacks, avoidance, changes in relationships, emotional flooding, anger, and hyper-vigilance. I can help you address cumulative stress and events such as: surgery, birth trauma, perinatal trauma, invasive medical procedures, anesthesia, sexual assault, unwanted sexual contact, emotional trauma, neglect, abuse, abandonment, experiences of war, falls, animal attacks, car accidents, natural disasters, spiritual abuse/cults, cultural and historical trauma, intergenerational trauma, death, witnessing violence, persistent threats, and other life altering events and experiences.

I provide Somatic Experiencing and clinical hypnosis to support you as you prepare for and heal after surgery, medical treatment, childbirth, and other important events. I also provide clinical hypnosis and Somatic Experiencing to address medical issues such as gastrointestinal distress or disorders, pain, and new or ongoing medical diagnoses that impact your life, including future or past surgery or medical procedures, chronic pain, migraines, heart arrhythmias, vertigo, dizziness or fainting upon standing (POTS), low blood pressure, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), asthma, and some auto immune diseases.

I provide therapy for sexual trauma and unwanted sexual contact.

I provide therapy for misophonia.

I provide intentional preparation for marriage, childbirth or adoption, and parenting.

I especially enjoy working with highly sensitive persons (HSPs) and with parents of highly sensitive children. I'm an HSP who's raised two HSP kids, now thriving young adults.

I provide work to help you design an intentional life and achieve peak performance.
